Mike Escobedo, DVM
Mike Escobedo, DVM graduated from Texas A&M University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He then was accepted into the College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1988 with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Escobedo attends at least 30-40 hours of continuing education seminars each year to provide the highest quality of care to your pets.
Dr. Escobedo began caring for pets at Cornerstone Animal Clinic in 1990. He co-owns the practice along with Dr. Morse. Both Dr. Escobedo and Cornerstone Animal Clinic belong to several associations that inspire excellence in veterinary practitioners and define superior standards in veterinary hospitals.
As the practice co-owner, Dr. Escobedo places emphasis on preventative care for your pets and strives to create an atmosphere where your pets are treated as if they were our own.
Dr. Escobedo shares his home with his wonderful wife, Yvonne and their son Connor.
Ben Morse, DVM
Dr. Morse joined Cornerstone Animal Clinic in 2013 after practicing for more than a decade at Highland Park Animal Hospital in Dallas. He co-owns the practice along with Dr. Escobedo.
Dr. Morse received his veterinary prerequisites from Hendrix College in Arkansas and began his veterinary medical studies at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of St. Kitts with an emphasis in zoonotic diseases. He completed his clinical rotations at Oklahoma State University in 2000.
Dr. Morse’s special interests include ultrasonography, internal medicine, and surgery. He regularly attends local and national continuing education seminars and spent several years practicing emergency veterinary medicine throughout his career.
Dr. Morse is a member of the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Outside of work, Dr. Morse enjoys spending time with his wife and his two young children, running and pursuing the perfect golf swing.
Dr. Eleazar Castro
Dr. Castro joined the Cornerstone Animal Clinic staff in 2013 after practicing in Dallas and El Paso, TX. Dr. Castro received his veterinary prerequisites from New Mexico State University and received his veterinary degree from Colorado State University of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.
Dr. Castro’s special interests include internal medicine and surgery and he regularly attends national continuing education seminars. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Dr. Castro enjoys watching all sports and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Toby Conner
Dr. Conner joined Cornerstone Animal Clinic in 2014 after practicing in Bridgeport, Texas for the past 2 years. Dr. Conner received his veterinary prerequisites and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas in 2005. He then went on to become a vocational agriculture teacher prior to attending Texas A&M University and receiving his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2012.
Dr. Conner’s special interests include both internal medicine and surgery alike. He regularly attends continuing education seminars and is a member of both the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, friends, 3 dogs and 2 cats.
Dr. Christi Linley
Dr. Linley was born in Overland Park, Kansas, but was raised in Flower Mound, Texas. She vowed to become a veterinarian when her childhood best friend, a spunky cat named Snooper, passed away from feline leukemia virus.
She attended Texas A&M University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 2006 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She has a special interest in internal medicine and oncology.
During her free time, Dr. Linley enjoys spending time with friends and family. She and her husband, Kevin, live in Prosper with their beautiful girls Victoria and Madelyn.
